Elk Hide Hand Drum + Raw Hide Rattle Weekend Workshop with Mitch Helary
Mitch is a talented Cree artist from northern Saskatchewan, known for his mastery in creating prayer fans, gourd rattles, drums, beadwork, baskets, moccasins, quilling, and other traditional arts. With extensive experience teaching workshops independently and as a cultural worker, Mitch's knowledge is deeply rooted in the ceremonial way of life and his dedicated involvement in his community. His love for these sacred arts and cultural teachings provide him the honour of preserving and sharing these traditional practices. The drums will be 13 inch elk hide with maple frame. Rattle needs two days for the drying process. DRUM ONLY WORKSHOP can happen in one day, on the day that works best for you. Call Robert: 306 280 8955
